I think Twitter needs to go ahead and position themselves as the king of real-time. They have all the resources that the other companies want to buy out. I see them heading in that direction; but they need to do something before the year is out to make things official.

Does collecta have a pre-determined system for organizing search results? It seems as though the tweets are grouped separately from the wordpress results etc. I apologize if this is a silly question but I don't have much experience with real-time search engines and certainly not with collecta.

Feedmil provides the broadest possible coverage in terms of search results by monitoring all sorts of stream types - microblogs, blogs, podcast, public & social media.
In addition, users can conveniently set popularity range for search results to
explore high quality but less popular information streams more quickly.
You could check out surchur.com if you're looking for the best real time results and we do combine context with speed. Plus we offer categorized results for better navigation.
