If you paste that code in YouTube search box, you will be amazed on how many fake videos have been uploaded by ordinary Chinese citizen to divert users from the original one. The Chinese government is worse than Orwell could ever have imagined. I hope the Chinese people will rise against it somewhere during this century. The Tibet situation is bad but the Falun Gong persecution is arguably even worse. I blogged about them so I guess my blog is banned by these fascists pigs as well by now.

The Chinese Govt. Official even went on to say that ' the injury of the injured person is fake'. I think, he must be kidding right. How can a person having 'fake injury' be 'injured'?
Anyway, by blocking YouTUbe, China has made the whole world sit up and go to YouTube to watch the video it didn't want its own people to see. Frankly speaking, methinks the target audience here is the people of the world, not ordinary Chinese. By blocking YouTube, it helped the people who posted this video get the attention they needed.

Yeah Chinese government has the tendency to block user controlled media. Although it's the number one country for personal blogging they block all wordpress hosted blogs and now you tube and various politically sensitive sites.

I am a foreigner living in China. Every time You tube gets banned it does attract more attention. You always wonder what has got PRC upset now. The bans are usually short, but lately have been more frequent. The don't really work since there are ways around it. I guess China doesn't really care about people like me seeing the videos, they are more concerned about the masses seeing it and being influenced. It is what it is. Though I do think China is changing. Bans are not very effective.
