Thanks for this post! RTs is one of the most mis-used thing on Twitter.

Despite warnings to a twitter member he continually DMed ppl to say my blog was a malware distribution site. He referred to me as a NAUGHTY TWEETER. It's totally untrue. I warned his RTers and 3 took down the RT.

My blog NEVER hosted malware of any kind. He was unable to tell me the malware proggie name and which page he saw it, that he said his Norton anti-virus had spotted. I told him to take down his misleading tweets while I try to sort things out on my end. He did not cooperate.

While all these are going on, 2 IT teams and several other Twitter members told me they don't spot anything malware. My webhosting service provider only said it was a Badge link causing the problem and I promptly removed it.

Currently I am working out with my webhosting provider on how to remove SKADOODLE.com ad links in my blog (previously he said it was another advertiser's link) as I cannot even log into my wordpress dashboard. Skadoodle.com ad links - they are flagged by Google to be hosting malware. My blog became an unknowing victim.

I remember this Twitter member had asked me questions about vaccines and health. He does not believe in the anti-vaccine logic nor about the toxins in them. Everytime I followed him back, he unfollowed me. I unfollowed him too. And he will follow me back again, the whole cycle repeats. I shoulda sense TROUBLE earlier but I did not. This was a Twitter member with a hidden agenda who wanted my Twitter account and blog DEAD.

Besides, they can speak or write e-mail to probably limited number of journalists, in which the movie studio know where to send their intimidation if they want to. But Twitter... it goes straight to the followers, and more.

Is it about deliberate leaking or accidental that they're concerned with by such no social network rule ?

I don't agree with them being banned from Twitter but of course they need to keep the movies secret. I still think they should be able to tweet about their life tho.

I'm always amused when a company or person fears something so much they react with pitch forks. It's the American way really, just ask the natives.

Honestly though I doubt a twitter ban is in the actual contract because there is no need for it. Your typical non disclosure agreement already covers non disclosure. Let's for argument sake say there was one in there, and either of them cared about it, Dream Works needs them more than they need another Shrek movie so I doubt it would make it to the final contract.

-and here I was thinking just the opposite waay back in wk 2 of the NFL I remember reviewing Mark Sanchez' twitter, FB, social sites thinking wow this guy needs to step up his online presence STAT! or hire a virtual assistant.. he still had tweets re college ball & NOTHING since playing Proball with the NFL..Jay Feely, Nick Mangold, & few others on my team tweet frequently.. Good PR for sure. This is just an example Im using...but I dont see what is is they're not getting here!

Exactly, why would they make it top secret. It's a modern age where people need to know the current event and happenings around the world be it good news or bad news as long as it's informative and most of all if we can help. And yeah, it's definitely no different from gossiping, writing or speaking to other people. Come on, media censorship and information control? LOL I'm not even sure if people would go haywire if aliens would be announce... but then again this is hollywood and not some conspiracy to coverup some sh*t going on. In short, it's just a freakin' movie. ROFL. Aaand they're just ordinary people afterall who want to share something.
