I like the idea of monkeys sitting in the apple facility doing all the crazy stuff with a bunch of iphones. hehe it is an amusing imagination.

I have recently launched two applications. I just hope the monkeys accidentally hit the approve button LOL!

Could it be that Apple doesn't want the easy access to derogatory language. Yes you can use safari and the Youtube app to view the same stuff. Put that involves several more steps to complete the process. In addition, those to apps allow access to the whole internet. This app doesn't.

I'm ok with criticizing apple where it makes sense. This isn't a good example of arbitrary rejection.

Actually, this is not arbitrary at all. This app allows someone to access YouTube videos outside of their own app. It isn't arbitrary at all it's about killing apps that compete with their own stuff. Which makes the approval of the Skype app all the more befuddling to me.

With 30,000 apps, they have rooms full of monkeys reviewing apps. They rejected my app for having a "urination" sound clip on the same week they approved an app dedicated to urination.

But since the phone came out, it's just been like OMG get over yourselves, Apple, there're newer technology out already in Tokyo and places like UK, Italy, etc.

I think Apple need to be pulled up on this by someone; Microsoft get accused all the time of unfair practice - a fine example is being criticized for having Internet Explorer installed as the default browser on Windows and there being no way to completely uninstall this.

I'd love to see Opera Mini on the Apple iPhone. I believe Opera Software have a working version for the iPhone, but they won't submit it to the App Store because it violates Apple's terms when it comes to matching their competing product of Safari web browser.
