    Vigilance, at all times.
  • Dmitry Shapiro · 6 months ago
Yep, seeing these come in from some of my friends. People desperately need education on how to recognize Internet scams, otherwise we will all be in big trouble.
  • Flavio · 6 months ago
I have received already two other .at sites, so I'd say (if necessary, but seeing how many people click it's never enough) to be careful to every site and not only to areps.at

    I hate this !!!!!!!
So lame this site Guy's must be.
  • Catherine Paull · 6 months ago
There appears to be some account hacking involved. I received one of these messages from my daughter's FB account and she did not send it - someone apparently hacked her account and sent the message to my FB account - and when I told my daughter she checked her FB page and it was indeed sent from her page somehow.

Apparently, you don't have to go to the site, to have the email sent out to others - I didn't and the email had gone out w/o my knowledge.....lame, and annoying

How do you stop the cycle of the phishing scam? On facebook, someone in my friends group must have fallen for the scam and now I as well as many other people are getting the phishing message "Areps.at". Will the phishing continue through all of my contacts too? Or does the process require me to enter in my facebook information on the fake site?

    Thanks

  • Stephanie · 6 months ago
A new one I just received:
    "Look at redbuddy dot be"
Can't find it elsewhere, but there is another ".be" in the comments below. Another one on the list I suppose. (redbuddy.be = bad)
  • Sharon · 6 months ago
I've been added as a "friend" to Facebook. Noteably, I tried to contact Facebook to keep me off their list completely but of course "they" said, once I've been added as a friend there is no taking it off. Surely there is someway to do this. Facebook is now noted for hackers and viruses .

You are right that these Phishing sacms are getting a bit predictable... Tha latest has already been blacklisted by Facebook but sadly, just simple alterations make it possible to paste the link. For those wanting to stay safe the site is www.whiteflash.be

Firefox has ALREADY BLACKLISTED THIS PAGE! TRUST THEM! IT IS A PHISHER!
