I agree. Almost everything I want to try for my business page only shows up on my profile, which is NOT where I want this stuff!

I must be doing something wrong but I cannot for the life of me get our facebook page to update when i tweet something. it is linked into an individual's facebook profile already so am guessing that this might be the problem but cannot be sure.

Anyone got any tips as to how I can get my twitter updates onto my organisation's page?

That Blog RSS Feed Reader is great but it doesn't work properly. Even when I tell it to move the box to my wall tab it doesn't display there at all. And if I have to keep it on the boxes tab of my fan page then I don't want it. Does anyone know what app Pink by Victoria Secret used to create the "The Scoop" tab that is now on their fan page profile? I would like to create something like that. The other apps work great though.

I recently set up our business page in facebook. I'm having problems setting up any of the HTML, or FBML apps on my business page. Every time I try to add one, it goes to my personal profile. Is there any way to add this kind of thing to a business page? thanks!

Yes it does. Once you've installed the app, you can go into its settings and add it to a page. You can't add it to multiples pages, and you can't use multiple Twitter accounts, though. You would have to delete the app, reinstall it with your job's account settings, and then add it to your job's page. It kind of puts a damper on things, but I'm hoping that Twitter will fix this in the future.

The Twitter app doesn't post to Facebook pages, it only updates your personal Facebook Profile status. I'm still looking for a good solution for updated my work's Page (I'm the main admin) with my works' Twitter account. I use the Selective Twitter app to update my personal Profile status with designated Twitter posts -- my FB friends hated how often the Twitter app (which posts ALL Tweets) was updating my personal FB status.

Great article. Wishing I would have stumbled across it before I set up our Group page (Dialogue with our Daughters). Probably a "Page" would have been a better bet. Once I get some time, I will have to figure out how to transfer it over....

There's an import a blog link on the right side when you try to edit the app..

Fox ex: if you've added the app to a fan page, click edit button below the page pic and then go to the app(notes) and click edit, then you'll see import a blog link.

Just a thought, every time I try to launch an app to our page, I have to log in as me from my fb profile and the app ends up going to my profile instead of our business page. any thoughts, this has been stymieing me for a while?

The Twitter app has never worked for me except to update my status. So it's not just you.

BTW, thanks for the suggestion of the Involver apps. They are by far the best page apps out there, and the developers look like they're on the ball. I just wish the best apps like this were more visible in the wonky Facebook Apps search page.

The ffwdPlayer is also very good and actually works. Here's what it looks like on my Facebook page:

Can you point me to a page that has the twitter app in it? I tried adding the application but was not able to get it to show up on our RAIT Alumni Magazing [RAM]'s facebook fanpage at http://www.facebook.com/pag...
I was able to add the twitter app to my personal list of applications (just above the status bar) but I dont think it shows up in a box on my profile. Any suggestions?
