I personally use the Firefox search engine for Twitter the most.

And I'll add the extension that I recently finished: Tweet Reveal, to easily autodiscover Twitter users while browsing webpages.

    thanks Omarrr for the extension..

Some pretty cool stuff here for those of us that are fans of both Twitter and Firefox. Personally I love Firefox and am also a fan of Twitter. My problem with Twitter is I don’t have enough time to keep posting everything I am doing. Does anyone care anyway?

I use twitbin and can recommend it. Since I don't have any other side-bar firefox extentions it makes it easy for me to use... I don't know, I just like it.

    Its my personal favorite.

Yeah twitterfox blows all these other ones out of the water!

Instead of using a sidebar extension for Firefox, you can always just bookmark the mobile version (m.twitter.com) and then set the bookmark to open in the sidebar.

No pesky extensions to bother with.
Although the font is slightly bigger than I'd like.

    Hi!

Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks!

I agree, TwitterFox is where it's at. Next to zero screen real estate, can post, reply, send msgs, etc... handles multiple accounts... good stuff.

After loving the twitter-from-your-search-bar and being completely lost when all those services disappeared, I wrote my own. No-fuss posting from your search bar to Twitter: http://chillidonut.com/twitter/

I have been a user of the TwitterBar extension, and have found myself regularly searching for my Twitter tweets by accident. So I'll have to give one of these others a try.

It looks like twitbin is distributed by http://infinimedia.com/...when I tried to visit that site, I got a message saying something to the effect of "Reported Attack Site". Anyone know what that's all about?

Great Post Stan, I have been looking for easier ways of keeping track of twitter and keep working and still not ignore my peeps.

This will help a lot. Nice site, really cool! I am green with envy

Some of us don't use Twitter yet, and aren't cool. But, I do know about Outlook plugins. Xobni is good. Outlook Track-It, is better. A followup email reminder. SAVING MY LIFE! I'll try Twitter though. It's about time I do.

Wow! Cool Collection! I'm starting to try out twitter at the moment and this collection might come handy. Thanks! :)

But first I have to find out, why the heck twitter is not working correctly with my FF3/Linux installation. All the Ajax doesn't seem do be executed.. :(

Twitterfox is the best Firefox application I have found and it works great. I specifically like the feature of adding separate accounts (business verse personal)

A little trick built in to firefox is you can open bookmarks in the bookmarks sidebar. What I've done is bookmarked mobile.twitter.com and set it to open in the sidebar (http://twitpic.com/dm8rk)
