Great list! I love connecting with other designers on Twitter. I have enjoyed the wonderful articles, tutorials and downloads that other designers have thoughtfully posted on Twitter. I'm a graphic designer from Austin, Texas, and I, like many of the others, am all about spreading the design info love. I do not use Twitter as a forum to promote my own design business. Gotta be honest. I'm so over everybody posting links like "25 ways to be awesome" or 10950 tools that will make you better". Stop making so many ridiculous lists and say something useful. I would love to hear what some of these designers actually have to say about things, rather than just making a list of everybody else that does decent work.

Joshua, in total agreement with you on your comment. Think I should post something to my blog, "The 1 list that has all the answers to everything you ever wanted to know" and have a link to a search engine. Cmon please.
Lists are sometimes helpful when looking for solutions to problems, but a list like this is nothing but a snapshot in time of someones taste. Not facts, but opinion.
Besides there are some key people not on this list, zeldman, eric meyer, etc.

+1 Some of the "designers" listed here are not even good designers at all and made success at blogging. That's ok, but don't come and introduce them like the top notch designer. I can also see that @tutorial9 is absent and it's quite better than a lot of all these twitterers. The writer didn't even took care to certify that all accounts were working. @ilkeryoldas202 is not longer available (That page doesn't exist!) for example. However, for the good or the bad these articles will always work. We have just left four comments :P I love you anyway Mashable!

Hi there Dean The Art Wizard is an art attack presenter based in Leicester working with schools, the community. I create recycled sculptures with help from the community using recycled materials. I also create large art attacks similar to neil buchanon with the public. It would be fantastic to find people out there in the entertainment industry who would like to bring this unusual art-form back! Who's interested in Large Art Attacks???

Fantastic list! Have found lots of interesting people to follow thanks to this.
How many times do I have to read from designers "25 best Photoshop........." or "Top ..... Tips for using ------".??? They are peat and repeat, copies of one another. And who has time to read or go to all their links, let alone use them.
Any of these people get any business by using Twitter or is it designers following designers each reading each others Tweets?
a suggestion: For these types of articles, please add a "view by" filter feature. I'd love the ability to view designer by category...say user interface designers

From Idesignlove: I am glad to see that other people are also also listing websites on their twitter page with the intention of helping others.I have been tweeting about websites for people who have an interest in traveling around the world. (It will be clear which tweets have URLs for this purpose, as other tweets on my page are not related to travel). I came up with this idea because I know many Americans say that they would love to travel but cannot due to a myriad of reasons. My hope is to to pass along what I have been learning. Yesterday I found a 50 list, now a 85+, but none contains Nick La from WebDesignerWall. It is possible that has no Twitter account? I guess not, he must have :)
Cool list but I didn't see funneldesign there a design firm out of OKC. They've won a bunch of awards and tweet about design and just little cool, fun or entertaining things.
It is great resource of tweet designers and instant links to connect.Slowly this can turn into a who is who in design and media and design resources. #jags111 -tweet

At first I was like, "I wish I could toot my own horn and recommend me." But I figured these were all insanely good developers/designers up to which holding a candle would be difficult. But, surprisingly, some of them really aren't that special or even good. I guess the author here just wanted a robust list? Still, some good ones. Thanks!

That was huge list………..I almost took half of day to go through them. But honestly tell me one thing “Are they all that good?” I mean some of them are…no doubt, but I’ve also seen some mediocre designs. So why making a list unnecessarily huge……..I think a simple mention of five best designers will be more inspirational.
There are some good people on this list, but most of it looks like a list of who re-tweets the most "Top 10" lists (at least from your "sample" tweets)
