John, way to comment on an article that's so old it's obsolete. UberTwitter can now manage multiple Twitter accounts, and it's so well-done that I sometimes find myself using it even when I have a PC or laptop right in front of me.

Jennifer or anyone,

I am looking for an application to assist in managing several FaceBook accounts at once.

I am an eMarketing Consultant and have several clients that want me to manage their FaceBook accounts. Is there an application that will provide me with a screen with multiple FaceBook accounts with only relevant information I choose to monitor? Or anything like this.

I would greatly appreciate anyone's assistance.

CoTweet lets you manage only 6 accounts. For professional use this is not enough. In some countries a single account is tripled to allow one to publish in multiple languages.

I just get aggravated there's not just a simple way to tell which account you're logged into on the Twitter site, so I built a simple little greasemonkey script that displays it in the upper right:

And yet, despite various small vocal usergroups complaining about it, we've yet to see a truly reliable portable twitter app. All these clients, each excellent in their own right, relies on Adobe's AIR or MSFT's .NET, preventing them from being carried from one machine to another.

How disappointing.

Easy. One personal account, one company account (updates), one company account (customer service), multiple accounts for clients you're working for, etc. The list goes on.

Im a fan of tweeptracker.com I didn't see any web apps in the list that really help you manage your contacts. While I don't visit it daily, when I do want to clean up tweeps and see who's following and who's not, it saves a lot of time.

There's also a new browser which has an integrated sidebar like Twitterfox called Flock. It's pretty cool but I'll definitely check out Twitterfox

Did I mention Trigga.Me (http://www.trigga.me). Enables you to post to multiple twitter accounts (also to facebook, LinkedIn, Plurk, Plaxo an so on) and to groups of twitter accounts.

Great post and also thanks to everyone else for the blackberry client tips.

Inevitably, people will add extra favourites. My submission is Jadu's twitter module, as mentioned on VNUnet amongst other places.

Main thing with Jadu's twitter client is that it's integrated into the CMS, so it's ideal for local authorities, universities, businesses etc. More here http://bit.ly/fJHp1
