i've tried them all one by one.
i just want the official profile twitter widget without this loop, or even worse no loop, nonsence. Is it possible just to choose (with a script maybe?) the number of my last tweets which will appear on my blog?

Also check out http://www.twitspect.com/ - its a twitter 'karma' system, where you can send twitterers respect by tweeting something like "Sending some @twitspect to @marcelvdg for commenting on mashable".

The site tracks who is being respected, and there is also a widget that you can use that will show how much karma you have - its silly, but quite fun!

Great Widgets List - We used to use the Official Twitter Widget (would act up and tell us that 'This method requires a Get') when we tried to log in from our site. Now we just use the twitter counter with a 'Follow us on Twitter' sign. It all works!
