Nice to see someone else is obsessed with Blip too. If you look at their feedback page, an add-on is on their list of things-to-do. But in this tragic world, the iPhone support comes first. Sigh.

Not exclusive to music, but Headup definitely brings an interesting perspective... Get a mashup (including a player) of bands you bump into as you browse, and check out who of your friends is a fan of them...

Fire.fm is definitely my favorite!!!! I use FoxyTunes a lot too. Also tried other add-ons after seeing this list. I would say among the newer ones, GoMuzik impressed me with their "library of over 1 million songs" which seems to be true based on my experimenting use! Love their super-convenient internet toolbar player too! But probably needs more work to make it perfect......
I have become a fan of GoMuzik. Its been two months I m using it and i m impressed with its performance. GoMuzik has great range of songs which includes Hindi, English, tamil and the list goes on n on n on....Being a music lover GoMuzik gives me complete satisfaction...so i would say go GoMuzik!!!!!...

Now if they added a plug in for spotify that would really impress. Part of the problem with windows or any other OS is having to switch between programs that you commonly use. Firefox has some awesome ad-ons for html editing that combine all of the things you would normally do in several windows into one. Should have moved over from IE years ago!
I'm a total convert to FireFox having run IE for about 10 years! Oh well, I'm making up for lost time time now. I run about 5 add-ons inclusing Fire.FM which is just awesome! Rocking on!

Foxytunes integrates really nicely into the browser, It's really great. I just added Fire.fm and it works great, it's a sweet plugin!

I'd just like to add that as of version 1.4.5, FindThatBand has added The Hype Machine, Amazon.com, and iTunes search services to its list, thus enabling users to choose from more places to check out their favorite bands.
