I personally use read it later fire fox add on and pretty please with the results it give. It neatly stores them in a folder in favorites for later access

Of these, I think I'm digging the Read It Later plugin for FF. Here's why:
As far as I can tell, all the bookmarklets require either cross-scripting enabled, or at least javascript enabled on the page you're browsing to work. I use NoScript and prefer to err to the side of caution, so the bookmarklets are out.
Read It Later stuffs items in a Bookmarks folder, so anything that syncs with my bookmarks folder (esp FoxMarks) will also have the To Read bookmarks. It's also got very easy "mark as read" functionality - del.icio.us and other site-based markers seem to require you to go to the site to delete/remove a read link.

I think you should add that Instapaper automatically reformats the site to create a text-only version optimized for viewing on the iPhone. This is the main reason I use Instapaper over all these other tools.

i had the idea a long while back, hadn't created it into anything but yea some of these are ok. Or you could create a folder in your bookmarks called read later, and then just bookmark items and place them in that directory.

Nice and simple, safe, and secure.
